Terry Meyer

Terry Meyer has painted and sculpted for 60 years, with a passion for the energy and motion in his environment, which then serves as a conduit for the art he creates.

It is the assimilation of this spirit - energy and motion - that inspires his work. Within the mediums of painting in watercolor and oils, Meyer connects with the softness that is almost meditative, and translates this energy through brushstrokes.

Oils are more kinesthetic; he can feel the substance of the paint and its power, translating the environment around him.

His sculptures take all of that into the third dimension. Buyers are drawn to the emotions his work evokes, and say he’s a really nice guy.
