Launched!

The Pablo Center at the Confluence was the site of our EPIC Launch event, and it did not disappoint! They took great care in the set up and met all of our requested needs.

Our hardworking Artfluence committee! A few members were unable to attend due to other art commitments, but they were with us in spirit.

There was a welcoming table where RSVPs were checked and guests welcomed. Inside, the charcuterie board prepared by our caterers, Northwoods Grazing, who provided tempting treats!

Charcuterie board catered by Northwoods Grazing was artfully displayed!

Guests began to fill the room with collective energy. So many long-standing respected local artists and art enthusiasts came to learn more about how Artfluence is working to support them. We were honored by the great turnout! This was early in the evening, and we were so busy chatting with everyone and answering questions that we forgot to snag other crowd shots. If you were in the group and have a few photos to share, please add them in the comments!

The presented program started with Leighton Hahn who shared information on the development of Artfluence and the other committee members who showed how to navigate through the Artfluence website. Special 'thank you' goes to one of our Sponsors - Daredevil Consulting, who provided the web domain and a framework to build upon. SUPER KUDOS to Trillium Womack, who completed the various components of the website and is working to keep it up to date. We truly wouldn't have this wonderful community resource without her technical abilities!

Emily Blaskey spoke about the importance of community sponsorship.

With the official launch of Artfuence behind us, the work going forward NEEDS YOU! We invite all area artists and art enthusiasts to view the Artfluence website. Add your contact and content. Be a part of the growing movement to promote the Eau Claire area as the hub of fine art we all know it to be! Leave your comments in this blog post, connect with committee members directly, or stop into Decadent Gifts and Gallery to learn more. We also invite you or the art organization you represent to stop in to write your own blog post about your art journey or upcoming art event. This blog is a COMMUNITY connection and everyone has an equal seat at the keyboard. Thank you for the tremendous support and encouragement you ALL have been sharing. We're on this path together - and we truly believe that 'We all do BETTER when we ALL do better!"

Please join us in whatever way you can.
